Default Z07 or FX3 or both?

So what's the difference? In my Corvette black book it states both as an RPO. Now for the tricky part. Is an FX3 a Z07 or is it just a standard option for the Z07's? ... ...or is a Z07 an FX3? It's confusing really. Here's what it says:

*RPO Z07 included RPO FX3, heavy-duty suspension and heavy-duty brakes. Available with manual or automatic transmission.

This might help you help me. In the RPO# description it says:

RPO# FX3= Selective Ride and Handling, electronic.

RPO# Z07= Adjustable Suspention Package (coupe)

Which is it and what does what?!?!?!?

I'm just trying to ultimately figure out if my 1993 coupe WITH the "Ride Control" **** is the FX3 or the Z07 or both?? Furthermore does my car have 12" or 13"(heavy-duty) rotors?

Here's what I have. Selector switch that says "Ride Control" SPORT*TOUR*PERF. Now is this the "Adjustable Suspension Package" or the "Selective Ride and Handling"? ...or BOTH?

FX3 are adjustible shock absorbers, and the settings are controled with the switch that says "SPORT*TOUR*PERF".

In `93 FX3 was available as an option in regular coupes and convertibles. Also, FX3 was part of the ZR1 and Z07 packages. You could not get a Z07 or a ZR1 without the FX3.

Check your RPO sticker, located in the center storage compartment between the seats, for the codes.

If your Vette is a regular `93, it will say FE1, FX3, and JL9.
If your Vette is a Z-07, it will say FE7, FX3, J55, and Z07.

If it says Z51 with NO FX3, then you've really got something!

If and only if I had a 84 thru 90 or of course a 96. I have a 93 but it's still an FX3 with heavy duty goodies. I was hoping it was the Z07 but tire sizes made that quite obvious among other things. Hey, I'm still happy; however, I do need to send back the basic slotted rotors I ordered and get the 13" ones. Get this, the basic had 13" on the rear and 12" on the front whereas the heavy-duty package had 13" all the way around! You'd think for the extra inch, GM wouldn't have gone to the trouble!!! Why not make em 13" all the way around!! Good times!! LOL!!

So with 140K+ on the clock, do you guys think I'd notice a difference in handling if I had my shocks rebuilt? I don't track the car but I still hammer into corners and 4 wheel drift when I can! I can because I live in Oregon!! Neener neener!

Are you saying that nothing I said was correct because I'm pretty sure the Z07's came with 275's all the way around. Am I wrong on this?
