You may not have coolant in the heater core, start the car let it warm up the put the heat on and let it run, should only take a minute to begin heating. If not you may have a bad heater core, is there liquid on the floor panel? Mine is a '90 so I am not well versed on '94's.

Hope this helps

on the heater core. Also, what thermostat are you running. If it is a 160* thermostat, then your car may not be getting hot enough.

May be plugged up - but first verify that the temp door moves. Remove the Blower Module on the left hand side of the Evaporator Case and look inside. The door should move while someone changes the controls from 60 to 90. If the door works (if it doesn't repost), pull the heater hoses off of the core and flush it out - make sure the hoses are clean too - believe for your Year there's a restriction or check valve from the tank to the core. Clean it. If flushing doesn't bring back the heat and the door works, you need a new core.

I aagree with SunCr. Could be a door issue or a clog.

Safe to assume you bled the air out each time using the bleeder screws? Are both hoses getting hot? 102*F here today, my heater damn well better NOT work!

IMO it seems a little too hot for cruising temps- should be 196-201 dg.Use the digital gauge not the analog

Thanks everyone for the input, I found the restrctor in the hose and imediately snapped it in half.......guess I needed a new one. Replaced it with a 1/2 inch piece of copper pipe for now.Refilled with water and checked the heater. I did'nt know about the bleeders!. Anyway it blows 130 out the upper vents and 115 when I put it on auto 90 . I also noticed that there is virtually no air blowing out on the passenger side!?!? So I have heat and another little mystery!! Thanks again everyone!!

You in Alaska or Siberia? Replace that restrictor ASAP to keep from damaging your heater core with excessive pressure at higher RPMs.

It's there for a reason. Just keep your foot out of it till you replace it!

I've gotta admit that in the 3+ yrs that I've owned my LT4, I've never ever used the heater. Welcome to Phx AZ. Heck, in the winter here you still use the a/c.

I just got an 89 Vette. The defrost only blows cold air. I get A/C. When I turn it up closer to 90, the thing quits blowing air. Does this sound like that door you guys are talking about?

Sorry, but I'm new to this tech stuff.
