I agree, Ive had my current LT4 for going on 4 years now and Ive never once run the heat. The coldest month of the year here in Jacksonville, FL is usually January and AT THE MOST, Im riding around with the windows down and A/C off but never the heat on. However, Ive been through two A/C control modules and the current one is going out, thank goodness I ordered an extra the last time around! As horrible as it sounds to ride around without heat in 50 degree weather, no A/C in a blistering 100 degress will really put a damper on your day!

How about the level of the coolant?
Dropped?
If yes, and you are experiencing high coolant temps, i suspect the head gakets.
