Looking at new injectors.
Are the new Accel injectors better or did they just change the color? Should I go with the Fords? Is flow matched worth the extra money? I want to buy Bosch but I can't find new ones at a reasonable price. I have the 24lb Accels and they have been OK for about two years. It looks like one is starting to leak a little. I don't want rebuilts.

The Accel injectors have are completely redesigned, as stated on the box (when you see it). I just installed a set about 3 months ago and they are great. I ordered them from Summit and they are very inexpensive.

The old Accels are really bad. I'm not sure about the new ones yet. It would be nice to hear from others with the new Accels.

I have a new, never installed, set of 22 lb Bosch style injectors made by
Standard Motor Products. They are very high quality. PM me if interested.

I did, thanks. Turned out to be the best two weeks at the beach this summer. Worked out.
I'm looking at those scorpions too. What do I need? Narrow, self aligning?
Got any of those laying around?

No, I don't have any. Yes, narrow, self aligning, 1.6 ratio for SBC. That's it.

8v- all you need is a AFPR to set the fuel pressure and the fords would be fine... Nothing to do with a chip change... not required for #24 injectors...
