To answer the question, yes it can be done. Off the top of my head you would need an intake, carb, fuel pressure regulator, distributer, (HEI w/vac advance).
You will need to wire up your fuel pump to come on with ignition, and use the regulator to bring the pressure down, (5-7 psi). May need some other things depending on the tranny.
I would do a search since all of the info is out there. You also would not be subject to all the "old technology - why would you do that" responses.

UNless there is a real good reason to it would probably cost you less to fix whatever FI problem (Im assuming this is why) you are having.
