Default Installed Delteq, what a difference !

I installed a Delteq and some new plugs last night and what a boost in performance ! I hadn't realized quite how sluggish the car had gotten until I drove it this morning. Definetely the best thing I have done to this car so far.

On a side note, the lengths of the plug wires suggested by the instructions seemed a little long and it wasn't quite as clean an install as I had hoped (thank goodness for zip ties). So, if you decide to custom make your plug wires, make sure you measure them on the car first.

Thanks ! You guys answered my next question as to whether or not it would be so prone to failure if I were to pressure wash the motor. It's flithy as it's never been pressure washed due to fear of opti failure.

too late i've been washing the motor with the garden hose now for over a year with my delteq. never had a problem yet. i have the motor out and apart right now so i am going to take the opti apart and see how its looking in there before i put it back on the motor.

So, you're probably safe if you don't use high pressure ?

The Delteq system still uses the optical sensor in the Optispark to generate a Hi and Lo resolution pulse.
