Default im loosin it,more problems!!! help

ok so about 2 wks ago im gettin the car ready for school,so i change the crank seal(front) and put things back together with royal purple 10w30 synthetic(first time ever using it in the motor),so im drivin to school for the first time on the highway(for the first time ever) and im cruisin at 80 and the oil temps stayed around 230,when i finally made it to the town the car is really low on power, temps get back to normal but still low on power so i get on it a wot and the rpms get to 3800 then slowy drop while still at wot! dont know whats up,so i get to the school and park it and come out 1hr later and there's a puttle of black liquid gold under the car, at this point i turn on the car and the psi around 32 at idle, normally 52-56 psi,so i decide to take it to a mechanic where i leave it there for a day, funny thing is when me and my friend are walking to lunch he says "hey check it out,a s2000,a 350z,a g35 and ur covette, yep,my corvette drove right by me then guns it down the road, yea i know, guy didnt even wave,so i call up the shop and tell them what happens, and the guy says he sent someone out to wash it becouse he doesnt like to work on dirty cars, lol, whatever,so he calls me up and says he'll change the seal for 550$ and he said i may have lifter issue's,so i tell him to forget about it and that i'll do it myself, so i go to pick it up and when i start driving it the clutch engages like 4in higher then when it used to and i start to smell the clutch slippin,so i call up the guy and he claims he didnt do anything to it(man things just get worse and worse for me)
does anyone have a clue what is wrong? new clutch, slave cyl, master cyl, motor have like 1200 miles on it so i dont think its the lifters, man im loosing it!

That's why you don't let other people work on your car. A few years back when it went in for a smog inspection, some idiot moved my car and crunched my new front spoiler into a parking barrier.

You need to find a member near you to give your car a looking over. Im am totally paranoid of bringing my car to any shop, I worked at a few when I was younger and althgough there may be some "good" shops out there I know the shenanigans that goes on, especially when a sports car is sitting around.

Well, if it was me I would talk to my legal advisor (Dad ) and probably send a fairly nasty letter detailing the damage that occured due to the actions (and/or negligence) of the shop and shops management, then threaten a lawsuit for damages to the vehicle, stating that you had witnesses to the reckless driving and abuse of your vehicle.

As far as the damage, it might be a messed up master or slave cylinder, or a bent clutch fork? but I don't know if thats possible on these cars.

idk,the clutch fork is pretty heavy duty,my biggest concern is the loss of power!

the loss of power leads me to a fuel delivery issue.

how old is the filter and pump? I would put a Fuel Pressure Gauge on that sucker and see what happens.

Have you checked the exaust pressure coming out of the muffler after the engine is hot?

The symptoms you describe in the first post of this thread sound like maybe you have a collapsing catalytic converter.....as the engine gets hotter the blockage increases and the car bogs down on power. The good news: you get great gas milage!

the problem with that is theres no absolute way to prove the clutch and power loss wasnt that way before he brought it in...
