Default Service ASR Light?
I have a 1993 Corvette. When the service ASR light comes on the car will not start. At the same time, the security light flashes and the letters 'SYS' flash on the MPH display. PLEASE HELP! I've been dealing with this problem for months and no one has an answer. I have tried changing the fuel pump, new ignition key lock switch and key.

Could it be a bad battery maybe?

I had the same problem with my 92. Tried everything, new battery, brake fluid level etc. I finally changed my ECM. The problem was fixed. That was 9 months ago.
