Driver side door lock clip.....
well...went out to vette after work and put the key in the driver door....what do ya know...the door dosent unlock...
got home and pulled the door panel off...looking in there...i see a rod that has fallen out of the lock cylinder flange....well im going to get a new clip...but my dillemma is that its really tight up in there....does anyone have any tricks or tips for getting the new clip on the rod....should i get a kid with small hands :) :)

That happened to mine. I played with it forever and found the trick. First snap the new plastic piece into the lock, then insert the rod, and finally click the elbow part of the plastic piece onto the rod. Hopefully that will make sense to you. It is a really tight space, and seems impossible to work in there, but this is actually very simple.

Been there, done that. I think I lost about a pound of hide from my right hand but finally got it on. The only thing I can suggest is take your time and when your ready to pick up the sledgehammer or sawzall, it's time for a break. Good luck. :D
