As a general rule of thumb, a flashing SES lamp is due to a missfire. When the light is flashing, does it run poorly?

Check page 8A-14-15 in your service manual it shows the location of splice S119. A 93 is OBDI and does not monitor for misfires so it can not flash the SES for that condition.

Default Toptechx6-Thank you

Getting used to working on this Vet is kinda new to me. I have never owned a car this old and all the sensors are frustrating. My first car was a 57 bel-air and it was only ten years old. I guess I'll get used to working on this one. Nice looking car (rides like a tank on Illinois roads) but I like driving it. Thanks again.

I'm also looking at this from a viewpoint of a thermal breakdown of the Ignition control module.
