The car was running great. At a 1/4 tank, filled it up with premium (as usual) and took it home. The next day an idling problem started. It starts out ok (700 RPM), then after a minute or two it fluxuates from anywhere from 500-900 RPM. Checked some vacuum lines and they seemed ok. Any suggestions? A vacuum leak somewhere? Bad gas? The fuel pump seems ok and the tank is pressurized? I am puzzled.
I believe the term for the engine RPMs jumping around like that is called "hunting." Check/clean/adjust the IAC if the problem doesn't resolve its self soon.
Spray throttle body with carb cleaner inside and out. There should be a hole beside throttle plate ( this is the IAC passage ) and should be sprayed thoroughly to free up passage. Should idle fine after that.

NO......if you are going to spray anything, use THROTTLE BODY CLEANER, not carb cleaner..
Check your IAC. It will not throw codes, but will just die, aor run bad as many have found. Scanning only whos what the ecm is telling it to do. http://shbox.com/1/iac2.jpg
