I would like to see it done ! When people ask about supercharging a LTX on here you mostly hear horror stories and don't do it. It's like asking about a 160 t-stat in tech

Detonation = horror story
FMU's are notorious for failing.
Having said that, supercharging is great for power, and driveability. If the system is monitored for knock (detonation), and tuned properly. superchargers work well. Read all of the info on www.blowerworks.com, and you will learn how to tune it without tuning the computer using an electronic FMU, and a boost retard module. They also have a failsafe system. PCM for less claim they can tune it without an FMU, using the computer. I have met one other tunner who can tune it with the computer. Bottem line, make sure you know what you are doing, or pay someone who does know to get a good out come. Ask me how I know.

The 1st Vette I saw running 10's was a blown 383 LT4
Great mod. Everyone that's done it's said to replace the cast high compression pistons with some lower compression forged units.
