Well the forum was right a LS1 catalytic converter will fit on a LT4 regardless of what the manufacturer said.
I replaced the left converter only. The car is a lot louder now and seems to run stronger. Before it idled very smoothly, now it shakes and shimmys like it has a huge cam. I am not getting any codes. Why would replacing a cat make the car idle rougher?
Wonder if the right side is also bad and now I have an imbalance in the exhaust causing this idle issue?
