Default Throttle cable and Single Plane Intake

I just installed my new motor along with Jeb's intake. Using the stock or the Super Ram cable bracket, my throttle cable is too short. I guess Jeb mounted the braket support in the wrong place. Can I buy a new cable and insert it into the exsisting plastic tube? I have an 89 and where it connects the the throttle body, it has a cylinder shaped piece connected to the cable.

Thanks

I'm using a Victor Jr. & carb on my '90 C4, changed throttle cable to an '86 Monte Carlo/Malibu unit. Works fine, but may need travel adjustment depending on TB/carb pivot point.

Good luck,
Dave

Thanks. I got if figured out. I had an extra cable that Arizona Speed and marine sent me. I had problems years ago with their TB and the miniram. I'm all set now. Just waiting for headers.

I got married on Sept 8th. Back from the honeymoon. Time to spend money on the C4.
