'90 vert, as stated previously A/C blower motor stopped, no codes on the C68. Yesterday and today the oddest thing happened, driving down the street hit the accelerator WOT for 10 seconds each time the blower kicked on, when I slowed down the A/C continued to blow cool air until I shut the car off. Restart the car no blower motor I feel cool air only on bi-level, however on Auto nothing unless WOT.
Go Figure..............................:ack :

Reason: 10 seconds
A common problem with blower motors is the brushes wear out and no longer make good contact.
If the commutator stops on a section where the brushes are not making contact, it may not start.
However, if you hit the motor with your hand and it takes off, it is because you jolted the brushes into making contact.
Once the motor is runnng, it will "coast" over the bad spots and keep on running.
The other common problem is vacuum hose problems.
Most of the controls are caused by electronics controlling vacuum motors.
If there is a vacuum leak, the electronic controls do their job, but the vacuum motors don't.
