I just replaced 2 fuel injectors in my "94 LT1. I got to thinking which can be dangerous, I didn't change my oil and I am wondering if I should've as one injector failed open allowing some gas into the cylinder. Should I suspect that gas may have gotten into my oil and if it did can it cause me problems with my mobile #1 syn oil? Should I just change it? I just changed it and I really don't want to change it if I don't have to. I smelled my dip stick and didn't smell any gas. Also should I consider adding injector cleaning fluid to my gas being that I had to replace two of them? Will the cleaner cause me problems more then it's worth? Is there a preferred beand name of cleaner? Appreciate your thoughts, experiences and suggestions and thanks for your help.
Daca,
If you're worried @ fuel in your oil, change it. JMO, it's worth $30 for me to not stress over for 3k - 5k miles.

You should search the forum(s) for posts regarding the use of Seafoam before you go with it and potentially create problems. There are a lot of fuel injector cleaners out there [Chevron's Techron, Lucas Oil] . I would read/research a little more before I used in a can of anything.
