My horn died but i'm not sure if it's the actual horn or contact inside the car. How would i test that out? Could i make two wires from the battery and hit the horn?
I would think so, I assume the horns run on the same 12 volts as the rest of the car... I did a similar thing with jumper wires to a battery to test my new window motor....
LayZ, as CFI said, the smartest thing is to check for voltage at the horns. You're looking for battery voltage. If you don't have a helper to hit the horn button while you check for voltage, set off the alarm. This will tell you a couple of things, if the horns sound with the alarm going, the horns, wiring to them and the relay are good so your problem is in the column; if they don't sound, and you hear the relay behind the DIC clicking (you should also check for the relay click when hitting the horn button), you're problem lies between the relay and the horns; if no relay click, the 10 amp fuse behind the DIC is the most likely cause. To set off the alarm, while sitting in the driver seat - open door - lock doors (watch for Security light to go on solid) - shut door - unlock door - open door. Alarm should be activated. To de-activate, use the round key in door, turn to unlock.
Here's the FSM schematic in case you don't have it:
