I know they are the same on the caliper ends.. not sur at the frame/body side.. they show different PN on Rock Auto for 89 and 96

Call Edelbrock and ask about Russell brake lines, they should know too

I used '96 fronts on my '89, but had to file a small notch in the little bracket on the frame where the hoses attached to the hard lines for them to fit correctly, the "alignment notch" was off a good bit.

I guess you can not do that.
I was browsing the Goodridge , Russell and Earls catalogues for stainless steel lines ( braided) and I found that 94 to 96 are the same, but I almost remember that 91 and 93 are the same. So as you can see 94-96 would be a different fit compared to the first C4's.

Looked at Russell's catalogue and found this:
84-87 uses part# 692010
88-92 uses part# 692020
94-96 part# 692180
97-04 part# 692190

As you can see they market different kits for different year groups, hope this serves

But WHAT is different about them? in Russells catalog they also state that they will nto fit the ZR-1, when the ZR-1 uses the SAME lines as the regular C4..
