stuck horn
i've got a '95 vette and my horn is stuck. it is in the steering wheel because when i mess with the wheel it will quit going off. but soon as i turn the steering wheel it starts blowing again. i'm afraid to mess with it too much because of the airbag. is this something that i should take to the dealer to fix or can someone help with what to look for without making the airbag go off? thanks

The air bags won't go off until one of the accelerometer switches turns on in a crash. It is safe to take the steering wheel apart to get to the horn wire. The horns sound when you ground the wire for the horn with the horn button. If the wire is broken or has worn insulation, then it grounds and turns on the horn randomly.
