Fuel Pump Problems
Have an '87 pretty much stock L-98.
Had the fuel pump go out about 4 months ago. Took it to a Corvette shop here in town. Pump replaced. Along with the fuel sending unit and all the filters.
Shop owner indicated he had run the electric system including the alarm system, etc. found no problems at that point.
Pump went out again a week ago and, I had it replaced once again.
Pump went out yesterday and it was replaced for free.
I asked if all the realys etc. were checked and, whether or not the filters etc.
Frame filter was not replaced but the intake filter was.
Also, the motor seems to throttle back too much when under braking/stopping. Stumbles around and, sometimes shuts off. Starts easily. Idle is somewhat intermittent good/ not so good.
Suggestions?
