What should it cost
to get a good 3 angle valve job on a set of heads, and to get a block cleaned and bored .030" over?
I got bored while my Vette is getting painted (comes back to me next week, can't wait, especially since I just found a few cruise-ins around here). Anyhow, I picked up a 350 for cheap (4-bolt main, had an Edelbrock Torker intake, a Holley 4 bbl, and two different cylinder heads...), with the intentions of learning more about rebuilding a Chevy small-block by rebuilding an SBC. I tend to learn better by doing.
So I just wanted to get a ball-park on what some basic machine-work would cost so I know what to expect when asking the local shops.
