Howdy i have a quick question. I have an 89 and am probably going to log alot of track miles in the car but the car will be driven on occasion on the street. My question is has anyone ever sat in these seats?Corbeau CLubman I picked those because they seem to be the narrowest I could find on their website. and will they fit in our cars??
Also, if you want comfy and cheap, you can pickup a nice used set of '94+ C4 base or sport seats. They bolt right in, plug right up to your harness and are 100x more comfy than the danged older seats.

Well, that's a matter of opinion. I find the base 96 seats to be the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat in. With the way they're shaped, they force you to slouch your lower back and to shove your head forward. Imagine driving like that for an hour, it's not fun.

I like the base ones in my '85 cause I feel like its wrapped around me on the sides a bit, the newer ones dont seem that way even though they do have more padding, but thats a simple fix for older seats
I'm glad to hear you say that, I always hear people say how good the later C4 seats are, but I think they're awful. My '00 bmw sport seats are what the C4 seats should have been to start with. I wish I had a couple extra's to work on putting in the C4...
Hi guys while i thank you for the response, I was asking for opinions on those seats, and wondered if they fit in an 89. I was curious if they were comfortable, those seats only, because this car will be seeing a lot of track time.
