Default freakin car again!

ok, im going to get straight to it, i own a 86 4+3, as some might remember i was changin the main seal and after i did so i put full synthetic in it and the prob. im having is that when i get on it the rpm's will go to about 3400 rpm then slowly drop, i think it might be a fuel issue but im getting some lifter sounds too, not bad sounds, they just sound louder then they use too and my clutch is slipping and the peddle engages the clutch further out, does anyone have a clue what's goin on? these prob. became more evedent after i took it on the highway for the first time on a 50 mile trip!

p.s: this is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R never exsisted!( little humor)

Sounds like a bunch of different issues:
Fuel pressure: tape a fuel pressure gauge onto the window and take it for a drive and do readings.
Clutch: sounds like the MC is going south...slipping & engaging
* Any oil leakage? check the plate for oil

did you get in there and not change the clutch while you were doing the RR main seal?? That may have been a mistake.

I know when my pedal dropped, the clutch was done.

Separate issues, but it sounds more like a fuel delivery problem to me as far as the motor.
