I don't know how many times you've actually "used it" but just opening the program is considered a use. I don't think that anyone who has datamaster can give you their code and it will work for you.. Give datamaster or http://www.aldlcable.com/ a call for the registered authorization code...

No, opening the program is not considered one of the 20 free trials. Opening the "Record ALDL Data" is considered 1 use, and as long as it stays open, you can log as many times as you like on that 1 use.

94 and 95 are NOT OBD2, they are both the same and both full OBD1. Datamaster WILL work with both of them. I know, cause i use it and have done on both. They DONT have an OBD2 port on the car, they have a 16 pin ALDL connector.

96 are not hybrid systems, they are full OBD2.

It is a great program, but you will have to fork out the cash and get an authorization code that will only work on your computer.

I've got a 94 LT1 and have been using the Datamaster program. Case is correct in that just opening the program does NOT count as a "use" in the 1st 20 times. Also, you can just run the program (as long as you don't LOG-it doesn't count).

It's pretty good. I've been lurking here for about a year and haven't had enuf sense to understand WTF is going on. Just get datamaster and go from there, you can't go wrong. And you WILL learn a lot!
