If you post more detailed information on what you're up to you'll probably get you the info you want.

Basically, it's an engine swap... pulling out one d.o.a. long block and putting in a Jasper long block LT1 with a 3 year warranty.

What are the consumables that need to be replaced beyond water pump gaskets and exhaust manifold gaskets?

Okay, not knowing exactly what the new long block consists of you'd be looking at:

1. All the sensors

2. Intake Manifold gaskets

3. Throttle Body gasket

4. EGR valve, gasket and solenoid

5. Thermostat, Stat housing and it's "O" ring seal

6. Opti and gasket

7. Harmonic Damper and bolt

8. Ignition Coil and Module

9. Valve Cover gaskets

10. Anti-Seize compound for all bolts that screw into aluminum

11. Sensor-Safe Silicone Sealant

12. Steam Vent seals; for pipe connected to the rear of both heads

13. Anti-Freeze, Oil, Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, Water Wetter, Trans Fluid (?)

14. Spark plugs and Plug wires

15. Torque Wrench and various sockets and extensions

That's all I can think of right now: If I come up with anything else, I'll post it.

Thanks for your thoughts!

The car already is fully functional, so it's mainly the gaskets and seals and so forth. I didn't think about the coolant tubes at the rear of the heads. And, it'll be innneresting to see if the motor comes with a new dampner or not from Jasper. Think I'll ask on that one.

thanks again!
