Default Code 33 MAP Sensor Voltage High

I still have my car on jack stands. I removed the intake one because I had a coolant leak. I installed it a second time and it still leaked. It turned out that when Jeb welded the waterneck it warped the front enough that the water ports in the front did not seal right. I had to have it built up and machined down. The third time I used the right stuff gasket sealer and that did the trick. No leaks.

I started it tonight and it ran fine for about 10 minutes and then all of of a sudden it started to sputter and it died. It set code 33 MAP Sensor Voltage High. I cleared the code and boom same thing.

I'm thinking that code 33 could be massive vacuum leak? It idles around 60 kpa.

Does anyone know what this may be caused by?

Well, 33 is usually a MAF burnoff relay...or a short in CKT 998, probably a coincidence with the work being done...but a relay is about $10-12. If you do replace the burnoff relay you should replace the MAF power relay too. Worst case scenario...ECM, follow the trouble shooting in the FSM.

I run speed density and Code 33 is high voltage from the MAP sensor. Code 33 is different with a MAF car.
