Default quick window regular response needed!

In an attempt to save a few bucks i pulled the window motor and regulator out and cleaned the years of black hard dirty grease from the tracks and ribbon to see if it works any better (windows would roll up and down, but very slowly).

I now have it cleaned but I am unsure as to what type grease to put back on it.

My options are: regular spray automotive grease (kinda stiff), dilectic grease, or lithium grease. I am leaning toward the lithium personally, what do you think?

Thanks

Rob

PS title should've read regulator, not regular

I put wd 40 on mine, but Lithium grease would work well. I am upgrading to the new regulator on my 84

Well if WD40 is the answer then I am in business as I used a whoile can to clean 1 window regulator! I basically have a WD40 flood in my garage!

Thanks

Definitely go with a grease, the Li grease should work fine.

The lithium grease will hold up well.

WD40 is not a really lubricant despite what the can says.
