Will this swap make sense????
Ok, I have a '95 6spd Vette. I'm now in the process of going to an auto trans....
My friend has an '93 6spd Camaro and he wants to buy my ZF6 to put in his car. If i'm not mistaken his trans is a T56, right?
So, is this doable and is this swap make any sense? Which tranny can handle more power/torque??

I think the reason for no response is because no one can understand going from M6 to auto
Most people do it the other way
Wouldnt it be easier just to find an auto

The ZF won't fit in the Camaro, and the T56 won't work in the Vette (without a lot of work). So, to answer your question, no, it doesn't make any sense. The trans are about equal.

ZF6 will work in the F-body. SLP made a small run of firehawks that had them. But waaaaaay to much work. Just depends on how much time and money he wants to spend.
