Default Corsa exhuast modifying

My LT4 has Corsa catback system, with stock manifolds and cats.

I would like just a tad more noise, without ruining all the cruise comfort

Should i gut/remove the resonator, or delete the cats..

Can you buy some cat delete pipes for a LT car?

I ran 94 with a Corsa, stock manifolds, and no cats for a short time and it was WAY too loud. I hated it. I put shorties and cats on and like it much, much better.

Do the LT1/LT4 cars really kill that much sound?

When I bought the car it had stock manifolds and exhaust with no cats on it. I put the Corsa on and it was so loud I could not stand it so I bought some cats off Ebay. That gave it a very nice sound. I added the shorties not long after but they did not change the sound much.

Get some longtubes for good HP/TQ gains and the sound will be there.

That Corsa is straight though... there is nothing to gut except your cats and thats not gonna make your car sound much better

Youve got to listen to my Corsa set up in my signature. There is no resonance at all and you can still here a pasenger talk to you inside cabin. Dont get me wrong you can here the lope though. That I like. My set up: EM headers into x pipe then straight pipes into Corsa Mufflers. No cats or resonator! Mild cam 215/224 110LSA Thers another guy on the forum has a very similar sound to his car the only difference was he has Hot cam wich isnt as lopey as mine but he did remove his cats. I believe if you go with headers, no cats you will have your desired sound.
