I don't know if it will fit but they are definitely not the same 85-96.
I'm going by the gm parts manual it lists same part number for 85-96 and one number for 84 .it could be wrong ,but i have used a hood off a 87 on a 92 i just changed over all the mounting hardware.

i had no idea they where not the same,i bought a gm hood off a guy who bought it for his 87 and it fit a 92.i bet that's why he never used it on his 87 it was the wrong one .well at least now i know .thanks
