1993 bose radio is junk
I am currently replaceing the Bose radio on my 1993 lt1 with an after market I have read the FAQs but can not find the silver box they are tsalking about the only silver box i can find is the one directly behind the radio and I can not seem to get the box out of its hole. I know this is the wrong forum but I need some help.

that silver box is more than likely the CCM.
You need the CDM... and in 1993, I think they put it in the left rear storage bin with the ABS module.
They moved the damned thing around way too frequently.
If it is in the dash, check behind the glovebox.
