I have a 224/230 502/510 114 lobe. 383 w/ATI 10 psi 36 lbs injecters w/FMU. I took out a 10" 3000 stall to put 12" 1800 stall. The bigger stall make it no fun to drive on the street. The rpm are always so high. The flash was hard also. Had no traction w/nito drags 315. Could not drive on a wet road. Just what I have done.

What do you guys think of 214/224 531/568 w/1.5 rockers 115 LSA?

That is what Golen Engine Service recommend for the 383 I ordered.

Sounds kind of small to me. Actually, isn't that just about the same as a stock cam plus a little lift? Do you live in a smog inspection state? I run a 224-236 114lsa w/.620" lift--you can hear the cam at idle if you search this site for my post with a video clip. Thought long and hard about a 236-242 114lsa. I run a 396cid w/AFR220 heads and approx. 18 psi boost.

My stock cam is In/Exh Dur@.050" 202'/207' Lift (w/1.5) .413"/.428" LobSep 114.5'

Intake is a Super Ram. I don't want to rev it higher than 5500 to 6000 rpm.
TH700 with a 1800 stall speed ... would like to run it n/a for a year or two.
