Does anyone know anything about this kind of unit? They guarantee a 30% increase or your money back and it seems like a simple bolt on. I would love your opinions on the subject.
If you put on of those on every cylinder maybe it would do something.
I'm sure they do something, just not much. Did you guys see the streetfire.net video where they hook a leaf blower up to a Honda? It made like 450 horsepower. I am not kidding.
They got it running, then popped off the intake tube and put the leafblower in.
I want to find a junker car and put on of those huge squirrel cage fans that force the air through your houses heating system. It would be easy. Just an ac inverter and a few rolls of duct tape. It would be good for a night of fun at the drags. Also, fun for demolition derby.

I guarantee a whopping increase in speed if you drive your car off a cliff too.
These things are for people that want to do little and see huge gains. Not in this lifetime. Kinda like investing $10 and getting back $50000. Well, maybe Hillary Clinton can.
Have any of you actually seen one of these on a car? Do you know anyone who has ever tried one? What are your opinions based on? Ultimately, I suppose it can't hurt to try. They will take the part back and give you your money. What's the worst case scenario?

I must confess that I haven't seen any credible engine builder use their stuff.
Not their's but someone tried it. He is hoping that the fan blade that broke off didn't damage the engine too much.
Lack of use by major engine builders and one bad experience from someone. If it was that good, don't you think all the major engine builders would be all over it like a cheap suit? Talk to Callaway, Lingenfelter, TPIS, etc, etc. See if they can recommend it. After they stop laughing, that is.
Only if it doesn't break off and send particles into the engine like it did my classmate.
So they say. Eons ago, I tried to get better credit via those credit repair agencies that will give you your money back. I'm still waiting for it since 1990.
They give you your money back for the unit but you pay for the engine damage from either or both the chip and the supercharger. Correction. Worst case scenario is they don't pay you for the engine damage or give you a refund.
I have seen this before on the net from another company out of Fla.
I dont remember thier name but the basic idea with theirs was a sys for short burts only. It drew so much elec that extra batts had to be installed. If I remember correctly you could use theirs for 15 secs or so and then the batts would be drained and have to be recharged by driving around for awhile. I also think that it wasnt much good for a engine much bigger than 2.0 liter. and even on the small engine didnt make much boost.
Also with all the other stuff you end up spending as much as a regular supercharger anyway.
Ok, now Im getting it. I just did a little search to see what others were saying. Frankly, I had never ever heard of anything like this before, so I had to post and ask. It was looking at the procharger unit that got me all giddy in the first place.
