Default best gaskets for boost

I have a Vortech supercharger in my '92 - running 12psi of boost and alky injection. The engine is a 383 LT-1 with ported LT-4 heads and an LT-4 intake.

I have two problems - suspected head gasket problem and extensive intake oil leaks. I am currently tearing it down to replace the gaskets.

A couple of questions:

1. What are the best gaskets (intake and head) for my combination?
2. Any 'tricks' for getting the intake to seal? (The Right Stuff. extra thick gaskets etc.)
3. Has anyone tried fabricating a sheet metal 'shield' to isolate the valley from the intake?

Thanks!

I use cometic head gaskets just over 20psi, and fel-pro printoseal intake gaskets.

the cometics do like a very smooth finish.
I see some guys use the ford diesel headgasket goop, but I install mine dry.
