[PAGING]: 65Z01 (Cut back Electrodes again)
I just bought a set of Rapidfire #5 at Pepboys (same thing in the car now). I'm going to go out to the barn and cut back the electrodes. I just want to know what you gapped yours at after doing this?

I have always installed FR5LS plugs and have gapped them at .035. I am still amazed that the owners manual and the service manual (GM's) doesn't say what plug should be used and what the gap should be. WHY ??????????????

Scrop, sorry for the delay; those short naps work wonders.
From later context sounds like you are asking about gap dimension.
Since I have the HyperTech coil/cap/rotor with 53kV output and TPIS low resistance wires I gapped to .045". With stock ignition I would gap to .035".
