I bought one from korvette4u a few months ago, but haven't turned a wrench on my car yet, so it is still in the box. It is very well made, hefty, and the pulley spins extremely smooth. Now I am trying to decide whether to polish it, or powder coat it. Either way, it sure looks better than the air pump it is replacing. Money well spent!

I have one also, and have not yet installed it. It is very well made, and came w/ an extra bearing.

I didn't get an extra bearing.....
My only comment, having installed it yesterday, is that grade 8 bolts would be better than the standard silver ones.
One of the bolt heads is turned down on a lathe so it fits behind the power steering pump. When you get a wrench on it, it slips and can round out the bolt if you don't grasp it just right. Grade 8 would not be as easy to strip.

JSUP grade 8 bolt is an over kill. the unit need only be held in place and 80.000 tensile bolt is way way over! the grade 5 is suffient to with stand any force upto 30 ton...the bottm bolt needs to be flaten in order to clear the streering pump pulley. i would say that a good quality wrench would take care of any slipping..
thank you!

Without having reseached the AIR pump issue, I'll ask the question- Is there a link to a thread which discusses what to do with all the air components, disconnecting/stowing/capping/modifying,etc... I just put a clutch in my 6-sp 90 vert and haven't spent much time under the hood ths year.... but I'm ready!
