Sunvisor Mounting Clips
I removed the sunvisors on my 86 when I did the weatherstripping and now I am replacing them. When I took them out, there was a little clip at the top that I ended up destroying when I took them out, the Dealer wants $6 each for replacements. Is there something I can use as a substitute for this??

Do you mean these push nuts?
You can probably find them at a hardware store that has nuts & bolt bins. Or drop me your address and I'll mail you a few. I bought a bunch when I pulled mine apart.

if you have a tap & die set you can cut some threads in the post that the spring goes over and use a small nut to secure, I did that to mine and it worked good but I can't remember what size I used I'm thinking it was 8/32 nc. I had tried the push washers from home depot but they kept popping off.

I got some rectangular shaped push nuts from the hardware store for 35 cents that seem to be doing the trick, didn't need to go to plan B (thread cutting) well so far anyway............
