A couple mods - estimated HP gain?
I've made a couple of mods to my '95 LT1, and was wondering what the estimated rear wheel HP gain would be.
Here are the mods (along with guestimated HP gain):
1) Corsa cat-back (10-15 hp)
2) Mid America MAF housing (9 hp)
3) K&N filter and cut lid (6 hp)
So this would be 25-30 hp.
Does this sound about right? Haven't taken it to a dyno yet.

I'll toss this out for what it's worth, understand I have a Corsa system too and love the quality, style and sound.
Someone who owns a Vette shop with dyno posted this on another forum. He was installing a Corsa cat back system on his own car (LT1) so he did before and after pulls the same day as the install.
The system showed an increase of 2HP! Such a number is of course meaningless because it is within the margin of error expected between any two dyno pulls even if nothing was changed.
Great exhaust system as mentioned, but don't buy one expecting good return on investment if you are looking for more power.

funny thing was... after adding up ALL the little mods MAX CRANK HP gains i found from the catalogs, it came out to 312 at the motor... which ended up being almost exactly 265 RWHP once you subtract that (forgot the amount) percentage for drive train loss and all.
Interesting stuff.
I'd love to know what I run now though
