New trick
After playing with the 7mm side screws on my 95 upper radiator shroud and teaching the whole neighborhood my new found vocabulary.
I decided it would be easy just to reach up through cooling intake and snap off screw shank with a pair of visegrips. Then I took dremel and ground off remainder of protruding screws. They just fall out. Total time about 15mins. Wife can now take out her earplugs and all I have to do is buy a couple of new clips and screws. Also reverse them on install so I will never have this problem again.
