What do I have to remove to replace the wheel hub on passenger rear. I started to remove the u joint and dont think that is necessary. Is it a tork bit #55 and can I get to all three from the inside?
You can do a search, Scorp has a real nice write up on how to replace the bearings.
What is Scorp nothing came up on google search? Does anyone know of a web site that shows the steps required to remove the old wheel hub on a 1993 corvette?

Thanks,
Yes you can get to em from the inside, but I needed wobbler extensions, 7 of em for 5 bucks from harbor freight. - alot easier with a lift.

The half-shafts don't need to be removed - it may make some room but it is not required. Like mentioned above, a wobble might help. I don't remember if I used one but I do remember that I had to rotate the half-shafts to be able to get a good shot at the bolts.
Make sure you get a quality Torx bit - I used a Lisle(?) I found at Sears. The POS ones at Autozone, etc. will likely break or mess up the bolts depending on how tight they are.

I removed the half shaft to give more room. it's not difficult. Mine was held on by 17mm headed bolts, and I just used an offset wrench and a little angling, and it came out in about 20 minutes after jacking the car and removing the tire. I did have to remove the brake cable for access to one of the bolts. If you have a later car, there is no cable.

I bought the socket although having a hard time getting any of the bolts loose. Any sugestions on how to break these bolts free. I used oil to let them soak but wonder if I should try heating them up? Any ideas??????
Maybe try some PBlaster or Kroil to remove any possible corrosion. They are very tight bolts - a breaker bar or fairly strong hands will likely be required.

I have a breaker bar but have no room to use it. I will continue to soak them with Kroil and go from there.
Thanks,
