Default Hooker LT/cats/Borla catback install HELP '94 automatic

I just bought Hooker LT for my '94 automatic with Vortec supercharger. I want to add cats behind the headers and hook up to my Borla catback. Anybody done this. What brand and size cats? Flange on the header end of the cats and band clamp to the catback or weld? Any install suggestions or problems to watch out for? The headers are Hooker #2061 coated. My first post. Thanks for the help.

Come on guys, someone must have installed Hooker headers with bullet cats. How about some feedback.

Thanks for the reply, John. I will try to provide a heat shield between the cats and the trans.

The ZF cars are running random Tech bullet cats as mentioned. I don't know of any A4's with this setup. You might want to have a sewt of test pipes and just drop the cats in when you go pass the sniffer test. Another idea is 1 cat where the resonator is, but that might be to far back on the exhaust. How where the L98 cars setup?

L98's were like you said. There were Precats on 86091 basically where the cats are on 92-up cars. the Cat on 84-91 was where the resonator is on hte 92-up and the muffler were in the same location 84-96

I tried that single cat deal. On my 1st dyno run I had it glowing cherry red. On my 2nd pull I blew it off the car. IT won't work on an LT1 . Trust me :(

Thanks for the ideas, Lamar. I think a set of bullet cats will fit, but the tight space associated heat are obstacles. I'll try to set it up so test pipes can be swapped if the cats are unacceptable. I thought maybe someone had already tried this setup.
