I need injectors for an '89 350 TPI....I used CruzinPerformance for rebuilding injectors on another car and he was terrific. My problem is that he won't rebuild '89Multec injectors because of their solenoid issue.
Fine, so I still need to get injectors, stock spec. injectors. I don't want to tune my fuel pressure to accept a higher PSI injector. I don't want somebodies questionable used/restored business injectors. I want 100% replaceable, injectors.
What's good? Where can I get them?
Racetronics says they have a new injector that does what I want...but they don't know when they'll be available.
Should I just buy Standard injectors( all things considered, I guess I should order injectors for an '88 instead of an '89...right?) from my parts store?
I need to do this quickly, and I'd appreciate your advice.
Thank
I replaced my injectors on my 89 a couple a years ago. Bought them at auto zone for around 300 bucks for 8. They are still working perfect. I thought the 89 injectors were better than the 88's. Just my .02

I believe you are looking for 22# injectors (rated at 43.5psi).
These should be a direct replacement for you. They actually only flow about 19#/hr on the car due to GM's operating pressure, but that's beside the point.

Many people on the forum, including myself, swear by the Ford Pink Tops. They are fairly inexpensive and work really well. I did a quick search of Ebay and fiveomotorsports but could not find any advertized
I belive the part # is Bosch 0280150561 D9B-22lb On Ebay they typically sell for $150 per set. At a retailer they are $225-$250 or so.
They are plug and play.. direct replacment. The hardest part is getting to the fuel rail.
Joe: I think you are looking for someone to tell you what you should do and I do not think you will get that answer here Here is a thread that has a lot of info on the question you are asking:
This is a very long thread. Digest the info, send some PMs to people in the above posts for additional info and then make up your mind what you want to do.
I have heard some very good comments on the new Accel injectors. However, the old style are a questionable purchase. I hope this is helpful to you!
