I need some ideas. I have a "weird" noise coming from the rear of my car when I turn. It sounds like a low tone squeal but it is hard to describe. I had someone walk behind the car and he could not specify where it is coming from. I thought at first it was a tire rubbing but it isnt. I have 315 35s on the rear and I installed 4.10 gears. I removed the center section when I installed the gear and I lowered the car and installed a new rear leaf as well. It only makes the noise when turning. the harder you turn the louder it is. It isnt that loud (if you have the radio on you miss it) although my hearing probably is not a good measure (too many years around guns and aircraft).

Ideas?
Add gm limited slip differental lubricant. I had a simular issue cleared it right up. GC
I had a noise coming from the rear around turns...it turned out the rear end fluid needed to be changed.Changed the oil,new additive and no more noise. It sounded like a power steering whine, and doing figure 8's in an empty parking lot confirmed it.Maybe thats whats wrong..hard to say online.Maybe you can try that first if you cannot track down for sure what it is after more checking.
