I believe stock is 44psi w/o vacuum connected.

I'm running about 10deg BTDC; 6deg BTDC is stock.

87 just about got her done i put the dist. in wrong so i had to wait for a friend to get in where it should be, waiting on fittings for coolant lines then i can get fuel pres. reg. plumbed in and that should do it will post pics of lines and other things soon. as i said in earlier post if you can go with small cap distb./remote coil do it you then can use 1/2 pipe thread for coolant lines one thing else if you can find fuel rail with an6 fittings welded in that the way to go any ? dont be afraid to ask or call 814/849/3364, i wore out dock351 with ?s if you can go with air pump delete bracket that a plus also more room geo.

Great tips Geo.
Thanks.

I may shoot you a few emails.
How tough (expensive) do you think it would be to get the 6an fittings welded to the fuel rail? I already have the fuel rail and i know a couple of people at local shops that weld aluminum. I just don't know if they do anything so small.
I actually bought some metal fuel line, a flare tool and a bending tool. I was going to make my own lines to look almost stock.

I was hoping to use my stock distributor because I hear it's better than the small ones but I would imagine like everything else, you get what you pay for. If it doesn't fit, so be it but I'm going to try my best to make it work to save a few bucks.

Where did you mount your remote t-stat housing? Did you install steam lines in the front of the intake?
Crap, I'm hijacking your thread. PM me the answers if you don't want to fill your thread with non related stuff.
You will likely hear from me either by email or phone once I tear into it.
Thanks again.

My L98 runs best at 40 psi fuel pressure. I have 24lb. injectors, 1.6 RRs and 11 degrees timing. I tried 44 and it ran a little rich.
