Brake rotor Opinions.
I am about to buy rotors and brake pads for my new acquired 93, LT1 with 13" fronts and 12" rears. Factory style rotors are the least expensive, is it worth another $200 or so for slotted and/or drilled rotors? It is a daily driver, no track time. Just want to stop fast. Thanks.

Nope, just stick to the factory style rotors.

This has been talked about a few times. Really no difference unless you race the car hard or you want the drilled/slotted look. Don't go cheap on brake rotors. Buy GM or a brand well known.

Save the $200 and spend it on changing the tranny & rear dif fluid if you haven't already. Mine's a dd and I just use the solid rotor

Thanks for the advice. Factory style it is. Will save the money for a clutch, probably not far off.

NAPA parts are well-made and are of higher quality than the other parts stores. It is worth the extra $$.

I agree with the other posts. Plain stock rotors will do just fine.
But.. the drilled and slotted rotors sure do look nice!
