ECM Fuse
This problem is with my 1990 Corvette Coupe with a six speed and 280,000 miles on it. I am having a problem with my 3 Amp ECM Fuse blowing out. On the highway I have inserted a new fuse of a larger value and when I do that the 10 Amp Air Bag Fuse blows out. About a month ago I installed a new ECM and cleaned all the connections the problem went away. Now it has come back and lucky for me it is no longer intermediate. It blows the ECM Fuse each time now when I turn on the ignition. At first I thought tha something was wrong in new ECM or possibly a sensor. Yesterday I disconnected the ECM wiring completely and the ECM Fuse still blows when I turn on the ignition. I am now thinking it is either a short in the dash and a possible problem with the derm module since the wireing diagrams all show me that I have to have power to the air bag fuse for the ECM fuse to be powered up. Has anybody out there ever had this problem
