I HAVE A 95LT1 COUPE WITH 37K ON THE CLOCK. THE ONLY MODS ARE A K&N AIR FILTER, A AIR FOIL, AND A 160 DEGREE THERMOSTAT. I DON'T WANT TO GET TOO RADICAL. WILL A HYPERTECH POWER PROGRAMER MAKE A NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE IN MY CAR. I NEED SOMETHING A MUSTANG PULLED ME ON A 80 MPH ROLL OFF. :cry

With your mods you might see a little gain... mostly they are recommended for changing the temp cooling fans come on, adjusting speedo for gear change ,etc. It won't be night and day thou.

I've got an automatic trans the programmer allowed me to pick my shift points, set my rev limiter, and adjust my speedo after my gear change. It did not have a setting for the 3.54 gears so I put in a diffferent tire size. Then checked the speedo against a Garmin GPS. I spent a day at Lebanon they have test days sometimes and I was able to dial the car in with the programmer. I feal it's worth it's weight in Gold !!!!

You should have either 2.59s or 3.07s unless someone changed them. I think the RPO code for3.07s is G92.

I DON'T HAVE ANY OF THE RPO CODES. I DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. I BOUGHT THE CAR IN APRIL IT HAD 34K ON THE CLOCK WITH THE ORIGINAL TIRES. I THOUGHT ABOUT ORDERING A DUPLICATE WINDOW STICKER AND BUILD SHEET FROM THE CORVETTE MUSUM WEB SITE. THANKS FOR THE REPLY :)

Hey plastic !!

Try the following web site http://www.gscorvette.com
There is a link on the bottom of the page that will display all 1996 RPO codes. The 1995 codes are identical. Look at my signature...if you find the G44 G92 RPO codes, you have the performance axle ratio of 3.07. If you find GM1, you have the standard axle ratio...I think it's 2.56, but I'm not sure....anyway, there were only two ratios available on late C4s and the performance ratio is 3.07....I know that one for sure....

SOB ........ a Mustang pulled you at 80 mph:cry: ...must have been a five speed Cobra...I don't think a stock GT will be able to do that.....never pulled a Cobra, but have done some GTs in

Hey plastic....
Lemme know if you have codes that are not listed. I can find out waht they are. I have the Helms manuals for my 96....they list all RPO codes...some are really meaningless to us.....you should find all the important ones on that web site......BTW we have pretty similar cars !! Do you have red interior too??
Still can't believe that a Rustang blew you away:sad:......do you know if it was a Cobra? or what...
