Default Oil cooler question?

so my friends and i were parting out his 85 trans am and as i was taking the front bumper off i found an aftermarket tranny cooler. he owed me some money so i took it from him, im thinking of puttign it on my 84 vette. its a decent size cooler too.

Is it worth cutting the lines to install this?
also does it matter which line you connect it between?

it won't hurt. Just be sure the in is the in...

get rubber line for fuel or oils... NAPA should have it.

Two Summers ago I bought the largest trans. cooler I could find similar to this --

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I forgot the brand. I cut the trans. line coming out of the top of the rad. and ran a high temp / pressure line to the cooler and mounted it in front of the A / C condenser.
When I get around to it I'll splice in 2 "T" fittings W / temp sensors - before the rad. and after the cooler, to a digital gauge via a toggle switch.

But ----------- if you do two sensors to one gauge then you would know -------- the temp. going in and out

Then you could put a humidity sensor on the drivers seat -- if you go to fast into a corner it would go off telling you to slow down / or your having fun

I put one on the return line, on the bottom of the rad.

I put the gauge sender in the pan and mounted it in the center.

I have posted in a few other threads about this, a search will find you more info.
