7800 seems very high...you can get a 383 short block for 2k, get afr heads that have been cnc'ed. or similar for 1800 tops, get an lpe accel intake off of ebay for another 500. figure no more than 1500 to r&r and tune. many combos like this run 11:80-12:00 all day long at 116-118 depending on cam, short time etc...
