OK, Stupid Question....
I am in the middle of replacing the rear bearing hubs and notice there was no "seal" when I took them off. Now looking at a national parts warehouse website to determine what seal I needed...Are there two different types available or both. The ring gear is inside of the differential, at the center of the car. The ring gear is driven by the pinion. The pinion DOES have a seal on the yoke where the drive shaft to the transmission is attached, but that has nothing to do with wheel bearings. The wheel bearing and hub assemblies used on our C4s are sealed units. No outside, additional or other seals are needed or used.

I mean the toothed ring that is pressed onto the spindle that is for the ABS. That is good, so now I can proceed! I was just wondering where the advertised rear bearing hub seal went in the above mentioned link...Thanks!
